Aims:
- Youth in Europe
express wishes who "their Internet" should look like
- Transport the idea that Youth can
shape the Internet
- Get Youth involved
- Get a broad idea on Youth ideas
about internet matters in general
- Get more concrete ideas what
to bring forward in EuroDIG'10
- Objectives (need to be shaped clearly, e.g.
how many clicks, pagevisits, people involved,
expected number of wishes, traffic, etc.)

How? --> through web2.0 tools!
- "Mash-up"-page with links to
other social network pages,
Youth Opinion Blog, CoE, YFJ, etc.

Youth post their "1Wish for a better Internet"
- Possible alternatives for the form, see "Alternative idea" below
- Participants profile via social network-link
- Linked with the Youth Opinion fb-page (updates send to Mash-up page

Process
- Posting the 1Wish to the web-page (log in via sn-id?)
- Collecting wishes till a certain deadline X
- Backoffice-team selects the top 20 (30 or 50?) wishes
- Top-wishes presented to the community
- Community votes upon the wishes
- Most-voted upon Wish (=person who posted the wish) wins and may visit EuroDIG'10

What's needed?

Technical support
- Set-up of the page
- Decision on which social networks to include

Financial support
- Maybe some little money for the set-up of the web-page [need to check that out!]
- For the win-win: paying travel costs for the voted winner to EuroDIG'10

Team support
- designing the communication plan/strategy
- monitoring the entire process
- Backoffice-team for the top-item selection (essays, wishes: whatever the decision will be)
- Resources: pax from Reykjavik, Geneva, Strasbourg
