Many tagalog words are no longer being used in conversation
Sentence structures are broken
Translated word for word which sometimes don't make sense when read
English words and Tagalog Words are not comprehensive enough to describe the true meaning of the original languages. ie. "good"-"mabuti" instead of "excellent, happy" meaning "napakaganda" and "nakakatuwa"
Suffers Integrity of the words/content
The quality is not good for real solid bible study due to its inconsistencies
It uses the critical text (updated) of the OT and NT which removes thousands of words, lots of verses (compare KJV and NIV, NLT, NASB,ESV...)
New! Pinoy Bible NT: Mixes 2 Languages in one Translation
This Translation only reaches out to a particular section of our society -the Elite Millenials. How about people not living in NCR? Our more mature people ages 40 and above in rural areas who never uses words such as "nakakashock" or English words in their conversation?

This translation has the ability to teach people crooked English or crooked Tagalog. Since the Bible is the Sword of Truth, there will be a tendency for readers to accept the Taglish as a "standard" Filipino instead of the good old tagalog which is still the conversational dialect endorsed by the government and media communication throughout the years.
This is an attack to the academic norms of Filipino Language, therefore in essence, its not truly a "Pinoy" Bible but technically put, it should be called "Taglish Bible"

for the NT, they use one taken from the 19th century discovery (Wescott and Hort) as their source text. This manuscript called Siniaticus had a lot of controversy when it first came out due to the fact that it had lots of textual errors and corrections. One of the most prominent defender of the existing traditional Bible during that time (KJV) was Dean Burgon. For more details visit: http://deanburgonsociety.org/.
Currently PBS is headed by a Catholic Priest - Most Rev. Broderick S. Pabillo, D.D.

Goal
Comprehensive Filipino Bible that can be used by serious Filipino bible students and can be fully understood by even a grade 5 student
Accurate
No theological or doctrinal bias
It doesn't mean no theology involved but it only means that we won't lean more on theology but on accuracy of words and thought. Reference to Theology comes in only when it seems that the words or thoughts presented are not clear enough to the mind of the reader which are rare.
Go for the exact meaning of words, phrases and sentences and cultural meanings when applicable
Faithful to the Apostolic Traditions and Teachings
