1. 16.8.2024 Work From Home Request SOP (Done Discuss)
    1. Purpose: to request, approve, and manage work from home arrangements. Objective: ensures that WFH requests are handled consistently and transparently, maintaining productivity and accountability.
    2. Who are eligible to request?
      1. Health Reasons
        1. Mild illness not severely impacting work ability.
        2. If serious ill suggest to take sick leave.
      2. Caregiving Responsibilities
        1. Caring for a sick family member.
      3. Personal Emergencies
        1. need to provide reasons
    3. Request & Approval process
      1. 1. Employees must send WFH request via email, detailing the reason, duration. (to superior, cc hr) -WFH request should send by email in advanced (at least 1 day before), unless urgent & sudden incident, once get approval from superior, then need to send in official request email immediately. 2. Employee's direct supervisor reviews the request, discusses it with the employee, and provides a recommendation. * reply the email & cc hr too.
        1. Superior Responsibilities: supervisors thoroughly review each request, considering: a. employee’s performance history b. current workload/ role
          1. b. workload/ role 1. projects require close collaboration with team members or access to specific resources available only in the office, WFH may not be suitable. -if there is no specific urgent task need to be complete on the day, superior can request the staff to take annual leave or sick leave instead of WFH.
    4. WFH Guidelines and Expectations
      1. 1. Work Hours: Employees must be available during standard work hours, unless otherwise approved.
      2. 2. Communication: Employees must be reachable via designated communication tools
      3. 3. Deliverables: Employees MUST provide a daily work report, detailing tasks completed, progress made, and any issues encountered. The report should be submitted at the end of each workday. (email to superior and cc HR) Employees must fill out a timeline for their workday, indicating start and end times for each task.
        1. if without the report submitted, HR will record it under individual files, it will finally affect the performance review.
        2. if without the report, the superior / top management may refuse the future wfh request.
        3. HR need to come out with the wfh daily log template. send to the request staff through email.
