1. Framework
    1. Frameworks are a structuring of knowledge generated in an area of content
  2. Example of CIE Learning
    1. Unit EDFD 460 Australian Catholic University
    2. Collaboration
    3. Community of Practise
    4. Risk taking, challenging
    5. Different mediums for learning
  3. Sir Ken Robinson
    1. Sir Ken Robinson: Having been familiar with his name but not so much his obsession with acknowledging the potential in everyone. I find myself now hanging off every word he says and bringing it back to my own teaching pedagogy. He makes me realise that a moment in teaching / learning may not be covered in the planning but can be a strong point in the learning.
  4. Assessment / Questionnaires
    1. Questionnaires: For the first time in my teaching career I have really questioned why I write up an assessment. What exactly is it I want to achieve and how to give it longevity. I have never re-written an assessment so many times in my teaching life. Respecting also the need to assess the teacher not just evaluate the unit they teach.
  5. Curriculum and CIE
    1. Creativity and Imagination in the 3 curriculums. The searching for; the finding; the not finding; the reflecting on the meanings in the curriculum; the wondering whether we really understand the terms we use in curriculums… I feel confident to give CIE a place in the classroom and the school environment. And I feel motivated to elevate its importance in the school.
