- Does the material resonate me? Why? Observe how it makes me feel. Ultimately this process should allow me to connect the info to what I already know.
- Test it in real life scenerio. Does the learned material hold up?
- Transfer from short term memory to long term recall.
- Stay open and flexible and allow for change of ideas and beliefs

Deconstruct Text
- Skim over, decide what is relevant, pull it apart and note only the essentials

Reconstruct
- Take the noted material (threads) and put it all together into a coherent fashion.

3. Self Foraging and Rapid Prototype

Search through my experiences and the experiences of others as they relate to the learned material.
- Ask direct questions, use keyword searches online, etc.
- Design a rapid prototype application to test the ideas out in the field

4. Essential Reflection

Document the learning process often (journaling, sketches, audio recording, etc)
- What is the significance/value of the learning/unlearning taking place?
- Engage in constant maintenance of personal psyche. Get rid of non-optimal beliefs, patterns of behavior, etc.

5. Eat your Elephant with a Spoon
- Engage in regular, small learning sessions
- Design supportive learning environment
- Avoid procrastination
- Have good nutrition, exercise, and rest.
