- Location of Brain Functions

Cerebellum
- Sometimes called the "little brain" and has two hemispheres like the cerebrum (http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/bb/kinser/Structure1.html#cerebellum).
- According to Jensen (2008) this is the area associated with regulation and coordination of movement, balance and posture.
- Just as most of ones motor skills are processed through this part of the, so is most of ones learning declares Jensen (2008).

Brain Stem
- Is made up of: Midbrain, Pons, and Medulla Oblongata
- This area connects the brain and spinal cord.
- It's parts controls breathing and heartbeat, and also works with other area to motor skills and posture.

Frontal Lobe
- Is the area of the brain where judgement calls are made, planning is done, creativity and problem solving is tackled.

Temporal Lobe
- Located over the right and left ear, and are responsible for "hearing, language, memory and meaning" wrote Jensen (2008).

Parietal Lobe
- This area provides perception of stimuli, higher sensory and language role processing, and work with oter areas for movement.

Occipital Lobe
- This area controls all visual processes, and links vision and language areas.
