1. Location of Brain Functions
  2. Cerebellum
    1. Sometimes called the "little brain" and has two hemispheres like the cerebrum (http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/bb/kinser/Structure1.html#cerebellum).
    2. According to Jensen (2008) this is the area associated with regulation and coordination of movement, balance and posture.
    3. Just as most of ones motor skills are processed through this part of the, so is most of ones learning declares Jensen (2008).
  3. Brain Stem
    1. Is made up of: Midbrain, Pons, and Medulla Oblongata
    2. This area connects the brain and spinal cord.
    3. It's parts controls breathing and heartbeat, and also works with other area to motor skills and posture.
  4. Cerebrum
    1. Frontal Lobe
      1. Is the area of the brain where judgement calls are made, planning is done, creativity and problem solving is tackled.
    2. Temporal Lobe
      1. Located over the right and left ear, and are responsible for "hearing, language, memory and meaning" wrote Jensen (2008).
    3. Parietal Lobe
      1. This area provides perception of stimuli, higher sensory and language role processing, and work with oter areas for movement.
    4. Occipital Lobe
      1. This area controls all visual processes, and links vision and language areas.
