1. Though it seems that all the brain functions are in just one part of the brain, they overlap, work together and multi-task with automatic behaviors. With performing skills, girls outperform more in the temporal part of the brain and boys use more of their frontal part of their brain. Though boys still use their temporal and girls still use their frontal, they just outperform in these areas. For instance there is one boy and one girl and they smell a rose. Neither would be using their Diencephalon part of the brain because it does not include smells. The girl would take in the color, along with the smell, she would realize that red roses mean love and the memory of once getting or picking a rose. The boy would probably smell the rose and give his judgement of how it smells, if he should plan on picking it or leave it on the bush with its thorns. Unconsciously they would be using their cerebellum to move, balance while smelling the rose, and learning. They still would be using their brain stem to function with their bodies. Both the boy and the girl used all their parts of their brain they input the information in differently and that is how girls and boys outperform in different areas. Though girls are good at creativity and planning and some boys are better in memory and language, means that we use all parts of our brains and is not concrete how each of us use it, because we are all unique and none of us think exactly alike. Sometimes the genders have different strengths and abilities that outperform or out think in different areas. Some retain information differently than others due to their brain functions.
