- This is key. The Marble Arch is an archway formerly used by royalty in Britain.
- The flag on it may refer to the ruling family of the time...or whoever controlled/won Britain (or this person?)
- Love is not some glorious, wonderful triumphant thing - it's soft, and subtle, and can hurt.
