1. Gameplay
    1. Starting Round
      1. Take 1st 4 dominoes from draw pile
      2. Line up vertically with terrain side down, lowest number at the top, highest number at the bottom. Then flip over to expose terrain side
      3. Players claim dominoes
        1. One player takes all 4 king pieces in hand
        2. Randomly pulls pieces one at a time . Each King Piece that is pulled indicates which player claims a domino
        3. Players claim dominoes by putting their King Piece on them
      4. Select 4 new dominoes from drawing pile when all dominoes are claimed
        1. Line up vertically with lowest number at the top and highest at bottom, terrain side down, next to claimed dominoes.
        2. Flip new dominoes over
    2. Subsequent Rounds
      1. Action 1: Add claimed Domino to Kingdom
        1. Dominoes added to kingdom with the following connection rules
          1. Kingdom cannot be more than 5X5 squares
          2. When connecting domino to another domino, at least 2 connecting squares must have same terrain
          3. 4 sides of starting tile are Wild Cards - any terrain can be connected to them
          4. Once in place, dominoes cannot be moved
          5. Dominoes that do not meet the connection rules are discarded
          6. Dominoes cannot be discarded if they can be placed in the Kingdom
      2. Action 2: Choose a new domino from next line
        1. After adding domino to their kingdom, players select any available domino in next line
        2. Players place king on top of domino to claim it
      3. When all players added their dominoes to their Kingdom, draw another 4 Dominoes
        1. Line up vertically, with lowest number at bottom and highest number at top
        2. Flip over to start new round
        3. Use position of each king in the line as new playing order
  2. Game Ends
    1. Game ends when no more dominoes
    2. Players Calculate points
      1. Territory is a group of identical terrain squares connected horizontally or vertically
      2. For every territory, count number of connecting terrain squares and multiply by total number of crowns found in that territory
      3. Multiple territories of same terrain that are not connected are scored seperately
    3. Player with highest score wins
      1. If tied, player with largest territory wins. If still tied, victory is shared.
  3. Setup
    1. Assemble 4 3D castles
    2. Starting King Pieces and Tiles
      1. Each player takes single square starting tile
      2. A castle and one king piece that matches castle colour
      3. Players put starting tile with castle on it, in front of them
    3. Setup Dominoes Drawing pile
      1. Shuffle dominoes and place in box
      2. Position box so that gap in dominoes line-up section is away from players. This is the drawing pile

  5. 3 Player Game
    1. Each player takes 1 king piece, starting tile and castle
    2. Play with all 48 dominoes and line up 4 at a time for domino selection
    3. Discard leftover domino into the box every round
  6. 2 Player Game
    1. Each player takes 2 king pieces, 1 starting tile and 1 castle
    2. Play with 24 randomly selected dominoes
    3. During round, player selects 2 dominoes, 1 for each king piece
  7. Additional Game Variations
    1. Mighty Duel (2 players)
      1. Advanced players. Use all 48 and each player creates a 7 by 7 grid
    2. Harmony
      1. Get 5 bonus points if kingdom forms a complete grid (5 X 5 or 7 X 7) and no gaps
    3. Middle Kingdom
      1. 10 Bonus points if castle is in the centre of the kingdom's grid (kingdom may have gaps)
    4. Dynasty
      1. Play 3 games in a row. Player with highest total points wins.
