1. COLLECTİVE NOUNS
    1. A noun which is refers to a group of nouns.
    2. Examples: a band of men, a cast of actors, a sentence of judges, a flight of birds, a cup of tea, a batch of cakes etc.
  2. IRREGULAR NOUNS
    1. Irregular nouns are nouns which don't follow a spelling pattern when pluralized.

    5. woman-women etc.
  3. ABSTRACT NOUNS
    1. A noun which can not be identified using one of the five senses (taste,touch,hearing,smelling,sight)
    2. examples: anger, happiness, love, fear, friendship, anxiety, etc.
  4. COUNTABLE-UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
    1. Countable nouns are nouns which can be counted, even if the number might be extraordinarily high.

  5. PROPER NOUNS
    1. Proper nouns are the names of specific people or places. They should always begin with a capital.
    2. Examples: George Orwell, Australia, Black Sea, Indian Ocean etc.
  6. COMPOUND NOUNS
    1. Compound nouns are words where two nouns have been stuck together to make a new noun.

  7. POSESSİVE NOUNS
    1. Possessive nouns are nouns which possess something, normally another noun
    2. Examples:

  8. COMMON NOUNS
    1. Common nouns are words for people,places or things that are not specific. Common nouns can be countable or uncountable, singular or plural.
    2. PEOPLE: sister,mother,father, uncle, child, baby, girl, man, teacher, student etc.
      1. ANİMALS: cat, lion, dog, fish etc.
      2. THİNGS: table, pencil, computer etc.
  9. CONCRETE NOUNS
    1. A concrete noun is a noun which can be identified through one of the five senses.(taste, touch, smell, hearing, sight)
    2. examples:
    3. Apple, dog, mouse, brain, bow, clock, umbrella, guitar, water, snowman, sun etc.
  10. GENERİC NOUNS
    1. A generic noun represents a whole class of things.
    2. It is not a specific, real,concrete thing, but rather a symbol of a whole group.
    3. Examples: A bird has wings. A horse has four legs.
