- 優れた電荷輸送特性(1.61 × 10^-2 cm² V^-1 s^-1)を持つ。
- ホール再編成エネルギーと電子結合強度の比較によって確認。
- 全体的に垂直方向の配向を示すが、ホール輸送ユニットが好ましい配向を示すことができる。
- 緑色蛍光s-OLEDsにおいて優れたホール輸送層として機能。
- 最大外部量子効率15.3%、最大電流効率53.9 cd A^-1を達成し、効率のロールオフが小さい。
- 真空蒸着OLEDsと比較可能で、OLED技術の進展に寄与する可能性がある。

- 非極性ETLを使用したOLEDは、1 mA cm⁻²で約8.1%の外部電気発光量子効率 (EQE) を示したのに対し、TPBiを使用したOLEDは5.4%に低下
- 再結合ゾーンの位置がボルテージに依存して移動し、三重励起子密度が減少することが確認された
