1. Bedside physican places order for specific test requested
   1. Stat/Emergency
      1. Placed above all orders in case depot in IHIS
      2. Ordering physician may call radiologist for specific requests
         1. Test performed by radiologist technician
            1. If patient unstable; responsibility of floor RN to stay and monitor patient
            2. floor RN will transport patient back to room
         2. Patient transported to department by floor RN
            1. Radiologist performs stat read and preliminary results placed
            2. Abnormal results will be paged to ordering physician
            3. Official results will be in IHIS within 24 hrs
   2. Regular/non urgent
      1. Placed in IHIS case depot department/sorted by date
         1. Test performed by radiologist technician
            1. Radiologist performs read and results placed in IHIS
            2. Abnormal results will be alerted to ordering physician by page
            3. Official results will be in IHIS within 24 hrs
            4. Abnormalities will be alerted to radiologist by technician by page
         2. Patient transported to department by transportation
            1. Technician will request transport to return patient to room
      2. Must have correct diagnosis for test
