4. Essential Conditions I Can Influence
   1. Ongoing Professional Learning- furthering my education is something that is important when working as a SLP.
   2. Student- Centered Learning- this will occur every day in my future work setting. Thats how successful therapy will be conducted by every activity being centered around my clients needs.
   3. Engaged Communities- this is very important in my future career because collaboration with other professions is a must.
5. 2 Goals
   1. I would like to be able to learn how to use Excel more efficiently.
   2. This is a common problem many people run into, but I would like to be more independent when it comes to fixing the computer that has been infected with a virus.
6. Assistive Technology Tools
   1. Ipod to use music for therapy. The Lyrics would be used for Articulation therapy.
   2. Telepractice, this would be very useful in the school system because their is such a high demand for SLPs. I could serve children at other school by using this tool.
7. My Threats
   1. Cost. Technology cost is expensive and funds are not always available to every student and teacher
      1. Doing a fundraiser with the students.
   2. Loss. Technology although it is expensive, it is easily stolen and/or broken easily.
      1. Making sure you have good security with the expensive technology. For example, keeping classroom locked up when not present in room.
   3. Technology is constantly evolving and advancing at a fast rate. It is hard to update and stay ahead.
      1. Keeping myself educated about the upcoming technology and making wise decisions before purchasing something new.
8. My Opportunities
   1. This mandatory class teaches me how to utilize different softwares programs that I was unaware of.
   2. Implementation of technology to make it more interesting for students such as slide shows and presentations
   3. The use of programs like Audacity, wimba pronto and wiki to communicate online with students
9. My Weaknesses
   1. Not understanding why certain tasks in technology go in certain orders to work correctly and smoothly
      1. Finding multiple software programs in order to have certain task work correctly.
   2. Differences between viruses, protection, spam ware, adware, etc...

      2. Being familiar with trustworthy software, such virus protection (AVG)
   3. Multitasking within technology and paper
      1. I have been using multi screens when doing assignments. It is easier to follow the directions.
10. My Strengths
    1. Ability to function word processing and office type programs
    2. Know basic concept of using internet information and understanding what is good and bad when downloading certain things
    3. I am able to learn and comprehend tools that would help integrate technology within certain aspects of some programs
