      1. This will help when students, such as kindergarteners, are just learning to write stories.

      1. This will help older students start to notice their mistakes and may even help them become aware of them when they are not on a computer.
7. My Threats
   1. Funding
      1. Search for terchnology grants and lobby for funds
   2. Resistance from parents and students
      1. Always give parents and students time to get used to new technology, send out notices about the technology, how it works, and what it does.
   3. Technology does not always cooperate
      1. Prepare myself to the maximum before I introduce a new type of technology as part of the lesson. I need to make sure I fully understand the technology and how to use it.
8. My Opportunities
   1. School systems are realy pushing technology integration and are slowly giving teachers funds to prepare.
   2. If I pursue my path of getting my masters in speech, I will be able to use up and coming technology to help students communicate better, which will help them in their academics.
   3. My family, exculding me, is very technologically savvy, I will have them on my side telling me about the new tech gadgets and keeping me up to date on what I can use in my class.
9. My Weaknesses
   1. I do not have a lot of free time to search for reseources.
      1. Use resources readily available to me, media specialists usually have more than a few tools up their sleeves.
   2. I want to work in a title 1 school
      1. I can be very active in my say about how title 1 funds are spent.
   3. I tend to find new tools and use them just because they are new, even if it isn't helping.
      1. I can ask my students to evaluate the new tools for effectiveness.
10. My Strengths
    1. Open mind to how technology can help my students learn more, because of this I am more apt to use tech tools.
    2. I am a quick learner, this is a strength because it means that I can learn to use new technology quickly so I can introduce it to my students.
    3. I am very inquisitive and will continue to search for new tools to use in my classroom, I wil ask my fellow teachers and do my own research.
