  2. Top 5 Tools
    1. Screen Larger
      1. The computer screen magnifies everything on the computer screen for those with visual impairments.
    2. Speech Output
      1. There are speakers by computers to allow those with visual impairments to hear what is typed on the screen.
    3. Visual Output
      1. Text shows at the bottom of videos so one can read along with what is said in the video
    4. Speak to Text
      1. Students can speak into a microphone hooked to the computer, while the computer types out everything the student says
    5. Mouthpiece
      1. Students can hold a large stick in their mouth and press on the keyboard with the stick for those have hand disabilities.
  3. Essential Conditions I Can Influence
    1. Implementation Planning-shared outlook for overall school effectiveness and student learning
    2. Skilled Personnel-all leaders in school are educated in ICT resources
    3. Curriculum Framework-content standards with digital influences that are related to modern learning styles
  4. 2 Goals
    1. I want to promote my students everyday to have creative minds with their individual learning style because each piece of work will be different just like each of my students are different.
    2. I want to promote the use of modern technology to my students and have them correctly use them, as well as learn from them.
  5. Assistive Technology Tools
    1. Speak-To-Text: as the student reads what he or she wants typed out, the computer listens and types out what the student says.
    2. Large text on keyboards would be great to use for students with visual impairments.
  6. My Threats
    1. Money-new technologies can be very expensive.
      1. Students can have fundraisers to bring technology devices into their classroom.
    2. If the administration does not want to use technology, teachers are not to use it.
      1. I can show the administration how technology can affect a classroom and the school population overall by presenting a powerpoint or glog on technology in classrooms.
    3. Making sure every child is capable of using technology
      1. Train teachers on Assistive Technology and make sure each classroom is set up properly to meet each child's individual needs.
  7. My Opportunities
    1. Teacher workshops
    2. Seeing different technology ideas at the college level while peers are presenting projects or uploading projects.
    3. Websites- there are many websites that have tons of resources online and technology devices available
  8. My Weaknesses
    1. Not educated on viruses
      1. I can get computer devices that protect computers and have security against viruses.
    2. New operations: If something is new to me it may take me a couple of times to master it.
      1. I can take more time to learn new practices and go to different workshops to master new concepts.
    3. Computers vs pen and paper-I still enjoy using other techniques other than just technology. Sometimes things can shut off or crash, which can make projects stressful.
      1. I can give technology more of a chance, and make sure my computer is always up to date so there are no crashes. I can also make sure everything is saved at all times.
  9. My Strengths
    1. Computer literate
    2. Have taken computer courses
    3. I can do podcasts as well as digital movies with ease.
