4. Essential Conditions I Can Influence
   1. Skilled Personnel - I can make sure that I am prepared and skilled, and I can teach other what I know.
   2. Technical Support - I can learn how to find help for the technology in my classroom and get to know the schools IT professional so that I can seek them out for help when needed.
   3. Student Centered Learning - I will design my lessons to be more student centered.
5. 2 Goals
   1. My first goal is to continue to learn more about the technology that is available, especially to teachers and students.
   2. My other goal is to tech my students and colleagues what technologies are available to them and how to use it in their studies and teaching.
6. Assistive Technology Tools
   1. One tool that I can see myself using is the text to speech feature. Many textbooks flip charts for smartboards have a feature that will read the book out loud as well.
   2. Another tool that I may use is a web accessability checker. as I create my classroom web page, I need to be aware that even if none of my students have visual impairments they may have parents or family members that do. It is important that everyone involved with my students education would be able to access and understand my web page.
7. My Threats
   1. Money left in the budget to afford to purchase and the upkeep of the newest technology. Work around: Fundraisers to help the school balance out costs.

   2. Not all administrators and parents are comfortable with technology in the classroom or think it should even be there. Workaround: They just need to be taught about all of the benefits and how the students will be protected from seeing something that they shouldn't.

   3. The school may not have room to accommodate new technology. Workaround: If I am at a school with limited space I will try my best to devote an area of my classroom to computers and other technology.

8. My Opportunities
   1. Many schools are already set up with tools such as smart board technology.
   2. The students are excited to use and learn new technology.
   3. Most schools not come equipped with an IT employee to assist teachers and work to keep the technology in working order and up to date.
9. My Weaknesses
   1. Most of my knowledge is still just very basic. Workaround: I just need to keep learning.
   2. I do not personally possess a lot of the newest technology, so my experience is a little behind. Workaround: There is really no way to work around it. I will just hope that the school I work at has more up to date technology.

   3. I can sometimes get easily frustrated when technology stops working for me. I need to get better at not getting so frustrated and learn how to seek the proper help for my technology problem.
10. My Strengths
    1. I already have a basic background with different types of technology.
    2. My generation was one of the firsts to really begin to grow up with technology in the home.
    3. I am eager to learn more, and can learn quickly.
