1. The Patrix CAN be Removed
    1. Removing or turning the Patrix down is possible. By identifying and acknowledging its influence when appraising current situations, we can make it stop dominating the design of our societies. Elimination of The Patrix is essential to the design and implementation of ecosocially regenerative societies we require to replace the current, collapsing, oppressive destructo-cultures.
    2. Methods to help remove The Patrix include: Non-Violent Communication, various forms of spirituality based on meditation, healing, affirmations, Transactional Analysis, The Mankind Project, Landmark Forum, Cognitive Therapy, Forum, somatic (body) based approaches like Feldenkrais Method, Alexander Technique, Contact Improv...
  2. Re-evaluation Counseling (RC) is another process for eliminating The Patrix
    1. RC uses the think and listen approach. It is easy to learn and is potent and effective. It includes: • a capacity for the 'thinker' to discharge, • the ability of the 'listener' to give approving attention to the thinker even when they are discharging on potentially disturbing material, • some closeness as appropriate, • mutual thinking to discover additional 'contradictions' and to offer 'directions'
    2. Other information related to RC include: - the fact that the 'listener' makes no attempt to 'interpret' the meaning of a client's material (not like psychotherapy at all) - it is (relatively) widely available and, once learned, it is free to use - it helps people to gain the clarity and courage to change society to fit people.
  3. Pluralistic Relativism Syndrome
    1. The belief that we cannot make judgements about the appropriateness of another person's or culture's value and belief systems, that every set of values and beliefs is just as valid as any other worldview.
  4. The Patrix Returns
    1. The Patrix returns, often in sly, hard-to-see and hard-to-eradicate forms
    2. We need to be alert Patrix Spotters and active Patrix Busters in our quest to bring ecosocially regenerative cultures to the forée
  5. Some Common Threads
    1. Classisme (The Class System)
    2. Racisme
    3. Sexisme
    4. Homophobia
    5. Separation from and dominion over Nature and other species
    6. Able-bodied-ism
    7. Men's Oppression
  6. Intersectionality
    1. No-one is immune. We each live at a unique intersection of several oppressions within The Patrix.
    2. All oppressions, not single issues, need resolving for humans to fully re-emerge.
    3. The way these oppressions synergize with each other, means each theme/meme plays louder or softer for each one of us.
  7. Internalized Oppression
    1. 'The Cop in the Head'
    2. Over time an oppressed group is liable to come to believe the untruths their oppressors tell about/direct at them.
  8. Everyone is both the Oppressor and the Oppressed
    1. The myth that some people are exclusively oppressors and others are solely victims is false
    2. We all have a common interest in eliminating The Patrix.
