How to activate my Xmind Pro/Premium/Business?

To activate Xmind Pro or Premium, simply sign in to your Xmind account to unlock the features.
Xmind for Desktop:

  1. Download and launch Xmind,
  2. Click "Sign In" to sign in with your account.

Xmind for Mobile:

  1. Download Xmind APP from application store,
  2. Launch Xmind app,
  3. Click "Settings" > "Sign In" to sign in with your account.

Xmind AI:

  1. Visit Xmind AI,
  2. Sign in with your account,
  3. Go to "My Works" to create or upload a mind map.

For Xmind Business, please go to your team space and create/edit a mind map.

  • On Xmind for Desktop: Sign In > Teams > Team Name
  • On Xmind AI: Sign In > Teams > Team Name
  • On Xmind for iOS: Sign In > Collaboration > Team Name

How to turn off my auto-renewal service?

Xmind Pro/Premium subscriptions automatically renew, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time:
For Xmind Pro purchased from the Xmind website:

  1. Sign in to your account on Xmind website,
  2. Navigate to "Subscription" > "Manage",
  3. Click "Turn Off Auto-Renew".

For Xmind Premium/Business purchased from the Xmind website:

  1. Sign in to your account on Xmind AI.
  2. Find My Works/your team name in the Sidebar, then right-click on it.
  3. Click the "Settings" popup.
  4. Go to "Plans" from the Settings menu.
  5. On the Plans page, locate the "Cancel" button and click it to initiate the cancellation process.

For purchases through the Apple App Store:

  1. Go to your device’s Settings > [Your Apple ID] > Subscriptions.
  2. Select your Xmind subscription.
  3. Tap "Cancel Subscription".

For purchases through Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Go to Subscriptions.
  3. Select your Xmind subscription and tap "Cancel Subscription".

*Note: Uninstalling the Xmind app or deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.

How to request a refund for Xmind Pro?

Xmind Pro offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund by emailing your order number or the email associated with your purchase to support@xmind.app.

For Xmind Premium subscription, it is non-refundable; however, you can cancel your subscription anytime. The cancellation will take effect after the current billing cycle ends, with no additional charges incurred.

For purchases made through the Apple App Store, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com, select Request a refund, and follow the prompts.

If you bought Xmind Pro on Google Play within the last 48 hours, you can request a refund directly on Google Play. For purchases older than 48 hours but still within 7 days, please contact support@xmind.app with your order number.

How do I upgrade from Xmind Pro to the Premium Plan?

We support upgrading from Xmind Pro to the Premium Plan (yearly) by paying the price difference.
Method 1: Upgrade from the App

  1. Open the Xmind App and go to "My Account".
  2. Click on "Upgrade Now".
  3. Select the Premium Plan and click "Upgrade".

Method 2: Upgrade from the Website

  1. Visit the Xmind website and navigate to the Pricing page.
  2. Select the Premium Plan.
  3. Click on "Upgrade" to complete the process.

After upgrading to Premium Plan, your previous Xmind Pro subscription will be cancelled, and the Premium subscription starts immediately with annual billing only. Please note that multi-year Pro users and those on multiple plans cannot upgrade at this time. Upgrades are final and non-refundable. For questions, contact support@xmind.app.

How can I retrieve invoice after purchasing Xmind Pro/Premium?

For Xmind Pro invoice:

  1. Sign in to your Xmind account,
  2. Navigate to "Payment History",
  3. Locate the order you wish to view, and click the "Invoice" link to download your receipt.
  4. To update your credit card or billing address, click "Manage" in the Subscription section and click "Update" in the Information section.

For Xmind Premium invoice:

  1. Sign in to your account on Xmind AI,
  2. Go to "My Works" > "Settings" > "Billing",
  3. Find the order, and click the download icon to retrieve the invoice or update billing information.

How to update my credit card information for my Xmind subscription?

To update your credit card information for your Xmind Pro subscription:

  1. Sign in to your account on the Xmind website,
  2. Navigate to the "Subscription" section and click "Manage",
  3. Select “Update” enter your new credit card details, and click "Update Credit Card" to confirm the changes.

For Xmind Premium subscription:

  1. Sign in to your account on Xmind AI,
  2. Go to "My Works" > "Settings" > "Plans" and click "Change" under "Payment Method".

What are the differences between the Xmind Free and Pro/Premium version?

Xmind offers three plans to suit different needs. The Free version is ideal for individuals new to mind mapping or managing simple personal projects. The Pro and Premium plans cater to professionals and organizations requiring advanced presentation and mind mapping features. How to redeem my Xmind Pro subscription redeem code?

To use your Xmind redemption code, open Xmind on your desktop or mobile device. On the desktop, go to "Help" > "Redeem Gift Card", and on mobile, navigate to "Settings" > "Redeem Gift Card". Sign in to your Xmind account if prompted, enter your redeem code in the provided field, and select Continue to activate your subscription.

How to sync my Xmind files?

For Xmind Premium and Xmind Pro users, you can upload your mind maps to "My Works". These files will be automatically synced when you open them using Xmind for Desktop, Xmind for iOS, and Xmind AI.

How can I recover my Xmind files if they are corrupted or lost?

If your Xmind files are corrupted or lost, you can try recovering them from file cache depending on the version and platform you are using:

  • If the file was created with Xmind (V25) desktop version, you can click "File" > "File Cache" from the menu to recover a backup file.
  • If the file was created with Xmind for mobile(iOS), you can go to Xmind "Settings" > "File Cache" to recover a backup file.
  • If the file was created with XMind 8 (Legacy), you can click "Window" > "Black Box" from the menu to recover a backup file.

How can I change the language of the Xmind app?

Xmind is available in 13 languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Thai, and Russian. To switch languages, open Xmind and navigate to Preferences from the Xmind menu on macOS or the dropdown menu in the top left corner menu on Windows. Select your desired language under Display Language and click Apply to confirm your choice.

How to manage my Xmind Pro Multi-user subscription?

When purchasing a team subscription for two or more users at Xmind, the buyer is assigned as the team administrator. This role allows full control over subscription settings and user access. Administrators can log into their account on the Xmind website, select "Manage", and then invite or remove users, as well as adding seats to the number of users.
