Description
Map Shot is a feature in Xmind designed to help users easily capture and enhance the appearance of their mind maps. With options to add colorful frames and shadows, Map Shot allows for the creation of more visually appealing and three-dimensional screenshots.
#Starting Map Shot
To begin capturing your mind map with Map Shot:
- Click on Tools in the menu bar.
- Select Map Shot to activate the feature.
#Using Shortcuts
For quick access, Map Shot can be activated using shortcuts:
- On Windows, press F7.
- On Mac, press ⇧ + ⌘ + P.
#Setting the Ratio
Map Shot offers flexibility in capturing your mind maps:
- Choose Square (1:1) for a balanced shot.
- Customize the ratio to fit your specific needs.
#Customizing Your Screenshot
After capturing, a pop-up allows for further customization:
- Adjust the Frame thickness and color.
- Add a Shadow for depth.
- Showcase the screenshot with Presented with Xmind branding.
#Click Copy & Save
After customization, click Copy & Save to save the screenshot to desktop.
