#Preferences
Description
In Xmind, users can customize their preferences based on individual needs, including appearance, display language, default zoom ratio, and more.
#How to Access Preferences
- On Mac, navigate to Xmind > Preferences to open the preferences panel; on Windows, click the hamburger menu in the toolbar's top-left corner > Preferences. Alternatively, use the shortcut Command + , (Mac) or Control + , (Windows).
#Adjusting Preferences
- Appearance:
- Follow system default
- Light mode
- Dark mode
- Display Language:
- Options include English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Thai, and Russian
- Default Zoom Ratio:
- Choices range from 300%, 200%, 150%, 120%, 100%, 80%, to 50%
- Default Theme:
- Use default
- Use the last used skeleton and color theme
- Default CJK Font:
- Various system or self-installed fonts available
- Automatic Software Updates:
- Automatically download and install updates
- Automatically download updates and prompt for installation
- Turn off automatic updates
- Additional Options:
- Start Quick Entry upon system login (macOS only)
- Check spelling as you type
- Automatically send usage statistics (excluding personal data)
- After making your selections, click Apply to finalize your settings.
#Sharing Settings
- In the sharing section, hover over the corresponding share icon to choose which sharing options to hide, such as Email, Evernote, Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
